The Progress Building at the Western Fair District was smoking hot on Friday night May 11. There was no reason to call the fire department though — they were already there, participating in the London Firefighters Hall of Flame Calendar Selection Night.A total of 18 of the departments finest took to the stage in this variety/talent show, each vying for a chance to appear in the 2013 London Fire Fighters calendar.An estimated audience of approximately 1,300 took in the evening performance with all proceeds from the event going to the Massel-Cruickshank Breast Cancer Patient Assistance Fund and to Prostate cancer research through the Translational Prostate Cancer Research Group at London Regional Cancer Program.
