13th Annual Winter Coat Drive for the Homeless in London

It is the 13th year for the Catholic Central High School and London Fire Department Coat Drive for those most vulnerable.

Over the past 12 years, the organization has received and distributed over 18,000 winter coats at no cost to those most in need in London.

The coat drive runs from December 1 to 31 and all coats can be dropped off at any of the 14 London Fire Halls or at Catholic Central High School.

All coats are sent out to the agencies that help the most in need, and the coats are given at no charge to anyone who needs one.

The following agencies receive the coats we distribute:

  • London Intercommunity Health Centre
  • Life Spin
  • Ark Aid Mission
  • Zhaawanong Women’s Shelter
  • Women’s Community House
  • Sisters of St. Joseph Soup Kitchen
  • Men’s Mission
  • Unity Project.

The organization says it is still desperate for coats, especially men’s coats and are asking people to please give the gift of warmth this December.
