A MASSIVE thank you to the amazing crew at Fire Station 2 (Apparatus Division) on Florence Street @ldnontfire
Today was fire truck dreams come true for a group of excited kids (and a few dads too). When we arrived, the crew had just returned from a call, but without missing a beat, they jumped right into our Dad Club London tour with smiles, laughter, and all the firefighter fun you could imagine!
We got the full tour of Engine 2, Rescue 2, Marine & Zodiac 2, and even some of the spare equipment like Truck 20 and Tanker 25 — each one as impressive as the next. The kids were absolutely thrilled to check out the trucks, try on gear, and learn what it takes to be a real-life hero. And let’s be honest, the dads had just as much fun!
The professionalism, kindness, and energy the Station 2 crew brought to the tour were top-notch. But what stood out even more was how they engaged with the kids — answering every question, showing them all the cool tools, and making sure they felt like the heroes of the day.
@dadclublondon , it’s our goal to create meaningful moments between dads and kids, and today was exactly that — a perfect example of what community is all about.
To Station 2: THANK YOU for going above and beyond today — not just with your service to our city, but with your heart, humour, and dedication to our community. You took the time to make memories with us that will last a lifetime.
