Thanks again to Rick Loiselle for sharing a couple more photos recently.
- Truck 1 , 1971 Ford/KingSeagrave 1050/0/75′ snorkel. An unusual photo in that it shown here pumping at a house fire sometime in the mid ’70s. Truck 1 arrived first to the fire, which was on King St West of Adelaide. Engine 1 was returning from another alarm so Truck 1 hit the hydrant and laid lines.
- 001 – Engine 1 , 1974 Ford/King 1050/500. First diesel rig and first pump with a top mount pump control. Photo was taken early 1975 just after it went into service. The deck gun still hasn’t been installed. “This photo was one of the first I had ever taken of a fire truck and I had a lot to learn. I’d like to believe that my photo’s are much better now.” – Rick Loiselle
