A monument to recognize 21 London firefighters who have died in the line of duty sits outside the London Fire Department Memorial Headquarters on Horton Street on Sunday September 11th, 2011. Family and friends of the fallen firefighters gathered to celebrate their memory as well as to remember those who lost their lives in the World Trade Centre collapse in New York City in 2001. London Fire Fighters will be hosting a Memorial Ceremony on September 11th at the London Fire Department Memorial Headquarters, (400 Horton Street, London) starting at 10:00am.  All are welcome with the doors opening at 9:30am.

Update:
London Fire Fighters held a very humble ceremony commemorating the lives lost during the terrorist attacks of September 11th, 2001.
