London Fire Fighters were called to assist London Police with a broken roof drain that was now flooding the parking garage and basement areas of Police Headquarters at 600 Dundas St. With 6 inches of water in the basement and water still coming in, fire fighters quickly decided the only way to move and to stay ahead of this volume of water was to move their truck inside and pump it out.  The opposite of what is normally done with a fire truck.  Over 600′ of hose was used to move the water out to the storm sewers on William St all supervised by a constant stream of curious cops coming down to stare at the spectacle.

Usually I try to park outside and pump water into a building, not the other way around… FFAO Jim Foster
