Capt. Frank Bell holds a helmet and coat melted and burned in the intense heat of an apartment fire Sunday at 131 Sackville St., where a young Toronto woman was found dead. The boots were also burned. Capt. Bell and Firefighter Pat Darcey suffered burns trying to get into the apartment. (Rick Eglinton - The London Free Press)
Capt. Bell, Firefighter Darcey and O’Brien were engulfed by flame and smoke as they tried to rescue a UWO student.
