London Police Service has launched an arson investigation after responding to a fire in the city’s east end.

On Saturday (Feb. 18), shortly after 3:30 a.m., London police responded to a fire at 1400 Crumlin Sideroad. The London Fire Department was able to control the fire, putting it out. There were no injuries as a result of the fire and damage has been estimated at approximately $75000.00.

Const. Bob Rostant said although the investigation into this fire is in its early stages, there are no indications, at this time, of any connection to other arson-related incidents currently being investigated by London police.
