One man was taken to hospital early today after a house fire at 16 Hope St. Flames gushed out the front and rear of the older dwelling and for a brief period firefighters had a tough time handling the blaze. At left, Fireman Gerry Burt’s face tells the story as he emerges from the building after fighting the fire for an hour. Donald Robinson, 38 is in satisfactory condition in St. Joseph’s Hospital with burns.
