A midday house fire in London’s east end is not considered suspicious according to London Police.

Officers say they responded to a single-storey home in the area of Cornerbrook and Tweedsmuir Avenue around 11 a.m. Tuesday after a fire broke out in the basement.

Fire crews were able to contain the flames, but just what sparked the blaze is still unknown.

There’s also no damage estimate at this time.

Police say no one was injured.
