Hampered by lack of water, firemen fought in vain to save the frame home of Mr. and Mrs Clarence Loune of 113 Emery Street. Silhouetted against the flames, these two firemen push into the burning embers in an effort to keep the fire from spreading to neighboring homes. Firemen found one hydrant frozen.
