Two people were taken to hospital following a “serious” two-vehicle crash on Adelaide Street on Wednesday morning, police say.
One person from each vehicle was taken to hospital after the 8 a.m. crash, police spokesperson Const. Matt Dawson told the Free Press.
One of them had serious injuries that were not considered life-threatening, and the other had minor injuries and was taken to hospital as a precaution, Dawson said.
Adelaide Street between Regent and Cheapside streets was closed in both directions during the police investigation, as was Victoria Street between Taylor Street and Logan Avenue. All streets were reopened by noon.

Two people were taken to hospital after what police described as a serious crash in London on Wednesday morning.
Police said one man was taken as a precaution and another man was taken with serious but non-life-threatening injuries.
At one point, fire crews had to be called back to the scene after fire broke out under the hood of the pick-up.
All lanes of traffic on Adelaide Street north were closed between Regent and Cheapside streets, but have since reopened.
