One person had to be extricated from a vehicle after a crash in London Thursday morning.

Emergency crews responded to the single-vehicle crash in the area of Fanshawe Park Road and Highbury Avenue after a van struck a gravel pile and rolled onto its side.

According to London fire, one person was trapped inside the vehicle and crews quickly got them out and transferred care to EMS.

Drivers are reminded to drive cautiously and stay alert, especially in industrial areas.
