Captain Fernie served our community with courage, commitment, and compassion. His leadership, integrity, and unwavering support for those around him left an indelible mark on his colleagues and the city he protected. He will be remembered not only for his professional excellence but for his kindness, humility, and the camaraderie he brought to every hall he served.
As we grieve this tremendous loss, our thoughts are with Brent’s family, friends, and all those impacted by his passing. The entire London Fire Department stands together in honouring his memory.
We encourage all members of our fire family to look out for one another during this difficult time. Support is available through the LFD Peer Support Team and updated resources can be found on the Health & Wellness Support page.
