Police investigate suspicious fire in downtown apartment

The London Police Service is looking into an overnight fire that broke out in the city’s downtown core.
On Tuesday around 11 p.m., police say emergency crews were called to an apartment building east of the Adelaide Street North and Dundas Street intersection. Firefighters were able to extinguish the flames, but the building still suffered $70,000 in damages, according to police.
Nobody was injured as a result of the incident.
London police have deemed the fire as suspicious and the Street Crime Unit is continuing the investigation.
