The driver of a van and a child were taken to hospital with non-life-threatening injuries after a three vehicle crash in downtown London Friday morning Police, firefighters, and paramedics were called to the intersection of York and Ridout streets around 11:30 a.m.
People who work in the area reported hearing a loud bang inside their places of business.
A heavily damaged white van came to rest on it’s side on York Street.
A Chevy SUV with a crumpled front end was sitting in the middle of the intersection and a third car, facing south on Ridout, had minor damage.
Police say a child was removed from a car seat in the van and was take to hospital for observation along with the driver.
The collision is under investigation by police who said there will be charges laid.
