Arsons: London Police investigating a suspicious pattern of deliberately set fires in east-end
Police are investigating a pattern of arsons clustered in the east-end of the city.
Since Aug. 1 there have been six arsons with five vehicles and one building were set ablaze, said police.
The fires have been lit between Thursday to Sunday, from 11 p.m. to 2 a.m.
The most recent blazes were found at a boarded-up home on Thursday night and less than an hour later at a vehicle on a nearby street.
Police are asking citizens to be vigilant of suspicious people in their neighbourhoods and report activity immediately to the London Police Service at 519-661-5670 or 911.
Suspicious fires:
- Aug. 1 – Vehicle on Veterans Memorial Parkway
- Aug. 18 – Vehicle on Martinet Avenue
- Aug. 20 – Vehicles at two address on Gore Road
- Aug. 25 – A building on Trafalgar Street and vehicle on Martinet Avenue
