The occupants of an SUV that plowed into a west London home Thursday were lucky to escape unscathed, say emergency responders.
A grey Mercedes SUV crashed through the garage of a two-storey house on Kanata Crescent around 4:30 p.m.
A woman who lives at the home was driving the SUV, and two children were in the vehicle, said captain Andy Henshall, adding none of them were injured.
“Everybody’s fine, just shook up. (They’re) very lucky, actually. It could have been a lot worse,” said Henshall.
The crash left the red brick house with structural damage.
