Early Morning Blaze Shuts Colonel Talbot Road in Lambeth
London emergency crews remain at the scene of a house fire in the Lambeth area Tuesday morning.
Police and fire fighters were called a house at 3557 Colonel Talbot Rd., just south of Clayton Walk at around 3:10 a.m.
When they arrived on scene, fire officials say the home was engulfed in flames.
Officials say no one was home when the fire started, and no injuries have been reported.
An early damage estimate is up to $750,000.
London Police have closed Colonel Talbot Rd. between Pack Rd. and Diane Cres. as crews work on scene.
There’s no word on when the road is expected to re-open.
