Early morning house fire severely damages house on Balmoral Avenue in London
A house fire Tuesday morning severely damaged a home on Balmoral Avenue.
Firefighters on the scene said the people who lived in the yellow brick home at 40 Balmoral were away at the time of the blaze which broke out shortly before 7 a.m.
At one point flames shot through the roof before firefighters were able to bring the fire under control. Police shutdown Balmoral Avenue north of Oxford.
Cause of the blaze remains under investigation.
