Residents in east London were woken up a little earlier than usual this morning as London fire fighters responded to a call at 955 Huron St.
Residents of the apartment building were forced to evacuate the building.
Fire officials say the fire was located on a balcony on the sixth floor of the seven-story building.
Fire fighters were able to contain the blaze to the balcony, and quickly extinguished the fire.
No injuries have been reported.
A number of cats who lived in the building also all made it out safely.
