Damage is estimated at $100,000 following a house fire in the Riverbend area of northwest London.
Fire crews were called to a home on Jack Nash Drive around 7 p.m. Wednesday after a fire broke out in the main floor family room.
When the London Fire Department arrived, smoke could be seen venting from the roof.
Fire officials say the blaze originated behind and around a gas fire place before extending up the back exterior wall and into the attic.
The cause of the fire is undetermined, however, tests are being conducted to determine if the gas fire place malfunctioned.
No injuries were reported to firefighters or anyone inside the home.
