London fire crews are battling a blaze at a recycling plant in the city’s south end.
A citizen reporter tells AM980 the blaze broke out in a pile of waste sometime around 1:30 p.m. Tuesday at Try Recycling on Dingman Dr. They say the wind then whipped the flames, helping them to spread.
A number of fire crews are on scene working to douse the flames. Additional citizen reporters say a haze and the smell of smoke is blanketing the White Oaks area as well.
