Firefighters Battle Easter Sunday Blaze at Northeast London Home
A fire inspector is investigating the cause of a house fire in northeast London on Sunday afternoon.
The fire department was called to a home on Hawkesbury Avenue, in the Huron-Sandford St. area, around 4:15 p.m. Sunday afternoon for a kitchen fire.
The blaze itself was extinguished relatively quickly, and damage is estimated at $25,000.
Officials say the cause is undetermined and remains under investigation.
No injuries were reported.
