A driver extracted from a vehicle suffered life-threatening injuries after a two-vehicle crash involving an LTC bus Sunday morning.

A bus and a vehicle collided at the Highbury Ave. and Oxford St. intersection about 12:34 a.m., police said.

The driver of the vehicle has to be extracted from the wreckage by firefighters. He was taken to hospital with life-threatening injuries.

The bus driver suffered minor injuries.

The intersection was closed for several hours while police investigated but has since been reopened.
