A house fire gutted part of a home on Windsor Avenue this morning.

London Fire says they were called around 10:40 am and went to attack the blaze that was located in the 2nd floor bathroom.

They say it was a stubborn fire that took crews some time to locate it because of the heavy smoke.

The home had smoke damage on the first floor, and extensive heat and smoke damage on the second floor, while the bathroom was completely destroyed.

The investigation is ongoing, damage estimate is $100,000.

No one was injured.
