London Police confirm that two people were sent to hospital today, after a minivan and pickup truck collided at the intersection of Rectory and Florence Street.

It happened around noon and the intersection was closed to allow emergency crews to respond. They had to use the jaws of life to get one of the passengers out of their vehicle.

Both drivers were taken to hospital. Police say their injuries are serious but not life-threatening.
