A London firefighter was injured battling a blaze at a south London business Sunday morning.

Firefighters were called to a structure fire at Moss Car and Truck Repair at 1036 Green Valley Rd. around 8:45 p.m.

Firefighters arrived to see heavy black smoke billowing from a garage.

The fire started in the engine cab of a panel truck and extended to nearby vehicles and the garage ceiling, said the London Fire Department.

A firefighter was taken to hospital with minor injuries after falling outside the garage.

Damage is estimated at $350,000.

The cause of the fire is undetermined.
