London firefighters were kept busy battling two blazes early Wednesday morning.

Firefighters responded to a fire at an abandoned house at 78 Oxford St. W around 4:32 a.m.

Damage was estimated at $50,000.

Nobody was injured.

Nearly an hour later, firefighters called to a fire at 8407 Longwoods Rd. found smoke billowing from a concrete garage.

There was a vehicle parked inside the garage, said a spokesperson for the London fire department.

Damage is unknown and nobody was injured.

Both fires are under investigation.
