Firefighters had to use the jaws of life to free Richard Pearce of London from his wrecked Sunbird Tuesday afternoon. His car, travelling east on Dufferin Avenue, was in a collision with a truck, which was travelling south on Colborne Street when it went through the red light. London Police Constable Ed Press said the driver of the truck, William Kaiser of London, was charged with careless driving. Pearce was taken to hospital with non-life threatening injuries.
