Nine London men huddled under blankets and neighbors’ coats early today after fire drove them from a three-storey rooming house at 761 King St., into sub-freezing weather. Firefighters at left spray water on the verandah roof to stop the spread of the fire, which tenants said started on the main floor. Roomer Bruce Isaac, right, takes shelter from the cold under a blanket. No person was hurt but a pet dog died.
