JCBrownArchives_Book01_11_mod02The new No. 3 firehall on Commissioners Road near Wonderland Road won’t be opening for another month, but already the fire department has decided to post at least one man there 24 hours a day. About a month ago vandals broke a couple of windows and with the new equipment and furnishings being installed officials thought it might be wise to have someone around to protect it. Above, fireman Mike Moore sweeps the floor while Larry Doolittle, below, studies a manual in the living-dining room.
