District Chief John Needham dies at age 60.
London District Fire Chief John A. Needham, 60, died Saturday night of an apparent heart attack.
Chief Needham of 52 Emery St, E. joined the fire department in November 1939. He was promoted to the rank of District Chief last April.
Chief Needham was stationed mainly at the No. 2 station on Florence Street.
