Police, fire officials investigate suspicious north London barn fire

Police and fire officials are investigating a suspicious fire in the city’s northeast end that destroyed a barn and sent plumes of smoke into the air.

London firefighters were called out to the scene near Sunningdale Road and North Wenige Drive at about 7:20 p.m. Tuesday, acting deputy fire chief Jack Burt said.

Platoon Chief removed from LPFFA

As of October 1, 2018 the position of Platoon Chief will no longer exist as per the new collective agreement between the LPFFA and the London Fire Department.
