Fire Chief’s Roadster. Chief John Aitken and fireman Sam Sweet are seen in this Ford Runabout, the first automobile to be used by a chief on the London Fire Dept. Ford Motor Co of Canada opens a temporary London plant on the south side of Dundas, east of Wellington street, and this is where this photograph was taken.
