London Police responded to two fires over the weekend, with arson suspected for one of the fires.

Last night at around 12:30 a.m, police received a call for a vehicle on fire on St. Julien Street. The fire department extinguished the fire, but damage is estimated at $6,000. The vehicle was stolen from a nearby residence a few hours before the fire.

On Saturday, police responded to a fire at a residence on Vancouver Street at around 7 a.m. The fire department extinguished the fire. Damage is estimated at $75,000. Police believe the cause of the fire was electrical from a refrigerator located in the basement. Residents of the home were taken to hospital with minor injuries from smoke inhalation.
