Local OPP spent several hours clearing a crash on the Veterans Memorial Parkway off-ramp on the eastbound 401.
Middlesex OPP Cst. Kevin Howe tells AM980 a tractor trailer crashed on the ramp shortly before 11 a.m. Wednesday, rolling onto its side. Part of the truck’s load spilled on the roadway.
Howe says charges are pending in the case and the cause of the crash is not yet known.
Thankfully, only minor injuries were reported and the driver of the truck was already out of the vehicle when emergency crews arrived on scene.
The off-ramp was closed for roughly seven hours while police investigated and cleared the crash.
