Damage is pegged at $275,000 following a house fire in the city’s northwest end.
A blaze broke out around 8:30 am Tuesday inside a home on Kininvie Dr, just off of Sarnia Road near Western University.
The lone occupant of the home managed to escape unharmed.
The fire damage was confined to the living room, but there was extensive smoke damage throughout the rest of the home.
The cause of the fire has yet to be determined.
The investigation is ongoing.
