Here is a bird’s eye view of the truck taken by Free Press Chief Photographer Bob Turnbull, whose feet are in the foreground, with the ladder extended its full 75 feet.” This is the caption from the London Free Press. During a brief ceremony, the keys to the $32,000 vehicle were handed over to London Mayor Allan J. Rush at Central Fire Hall on King Street.
