Arson Charges Laid Following Fire on English St.
London Police say they’ve laid two arson charges following a fire on English St. near Central Ave.
Police were dispatched, along with the London Fire Department, to 568 English St. around 9:20 p.m. Friday night.
Firefighters put out the blaze with damage estimated around $100,000.
A male was arrested and taken to hospital with minor injuries, although he was released.
Police say he has been charged with arson causing property damage and arson with disregard for human life.
The Ontario Fire Marshal’s Office is expected to attend the scene Saturday afternoon.
