Smoking in bed is suspected as the cause of a fire early today which took the life of a London man.
William David Dobson, 43, was found dead in his lower apartment at 164 Oxford St. W following the fire which was discovered shortly before 3 a.m.
District fire chief Robert Reid estimated damage to the apartment at $5,000. He said there was no one else in the apartment or in an upstairs unit.
