London Fire crews responded to the blaze, just south of Central Avenue, at around 11:30 a.m.

Upon arrival, smoke was visible from a second floor balcony.

Firefighters were able to quickly extinguished the blaze.

Their investigation revealed a pot that was left on the stove for too long caught fire, and the flames quickly spread to the microwave and cupboards.

Officials say no one was harmed.

Damage is estimated to be around $10,000.
