An unattended pot on a stove led London police to a marijuana grow operation. London firefighters and police responded to a fire at 313 Horton St. about 12:30 p.m. Sunday after a pot on a stove caught fire, causing about $50,000 damage. When firefighters put out the blaze, they discovered a marijuana grow operation. Police returned Monday morning with a search warrant and seized 82 pot plants worth an estimated $82,000. A 47-year-old London man is charged with unlawfully producing marijuana.
