Police are investigating a suspicious fire that left one man with minor injuries and caused about $60,000 in damages to a house in east London on Sunday.

London Police and London Fire Department were called to a house by the resident, a man, near Strand Street and Oxford Street around 7:50 p.m.

Police say the man was taken to the hospital to treat minor burns. He has since been released.

London Police’s crime investigation division and a Fire Inspector Marshal are investigating the incident.
