Two people have been taken to hospital following a serious collision in the city’s east end.
The accident occurred around 12:20 a.m. on Sunday at the intersection of Oxford and Highbury and involved an LTC bus and a civilian vehicle.
The bus driver was taken to hospital with minor injuries. No other passengers were on the bus at the time of the accident.
The driver of the other vehicle had to be extricated by the London Fire Department and was transported to hospital with life threatening injuries.
The intersection remained closed for several hours but has since re-opened.
