City Police Investigate After Chemicals Found In Northwest London Home
London Police say they’re investigating after a number of chemicals were found at a home in London’s northwest end.
Officers say it was around 1:05 p.m. Monday when they received a call from a concerned citizen who reported unknown chemicals within a residence on Lawson Road.
Police and the London Fire Department’s HazMat team arrived on scene and found there was no risk of an explosion. Officers say chemicals in a number of different containers were found inside the home and one person from the residence was transported to hospital for an unrelated matter.
At this time, London Police say no one is in custody and there were no injuries as a result of the case.
Officers say members of the Guns and Drugs Section and the Forensic Identification Section will stay on scene overnight as they continue their work in the case.
