Firefighters Investigate Townhouse Fire on Sarnia Road
Investigators have determined the cause of a blaze at a townhouse in the north end of the city.
Fire crews were called to the scene on Sarnia Road near Wonderland shortly before 4:30pm Wednesday afternoon.
They arrived to thick black smoke seeping out the front door.
It’s been determined the fire started in the kitchen, and spread to the living room as well, but smoke damage was reported throughout the entire townhouse.
Several people were home at the time, but were all able to make it out safely.
Damage is pegged at $120,000 dollars, and was contained to the unit where the fire originated.
