London Police say a fire that broke out early this morning at the old Tepperman’s building on Wharncliffe Road, is being considered suspicious.

Fire crews arrived around 4am at the building, that is under demolition, near Base Line Road.

Construction crews have been working on the building in recent weeks and the back of the building is completely torn down.

A London Fire spokesperson says they had two fire spots in the building that they had to put out, and there is no damage estimate because of the demolition.

The blaze is still under investigation.
