Engine 4
This 1975 International Cargostar/ King Seagrave 1050/500 pump had a short career as Engine 4 until it was involved in a fatal collision with an ambulance. It was written off and sold. The Dofasco Steel plant in Hamilton bought it and ran it as their pump for many years.
Sitting on the apron of old Station 3 on Bruce St is the 1954 International R185/Bickle Seagrave 500/500 pump that London acquired when Byron was annexed in 1961. It continued to run from the Byron hall as Engine 6 until the mid seventies. It then was a spare pump for a few years. It is filling in for Engine 3 in this pic.
