Several weeks after an explosion at a townhouse complex drove several residents from their homes in southeast London, Police have issued an arrest warrant for a second suspect.

24-year-old Moustafa Eldogdog of London is wanted on a number of charges, including:

  • Arson by negligence, contrary to section 436(1);
  • Arson causing damage to property, contrary to section 434;
  • Arson with disregard for human life, contrary to section 433(a); and
  • Occupant injuring a building, contrary to section 441.
  • Three counts of possession of a Schedule II substance for the purpose of trafficking, contrary to section 5(2);
  • Possession of a Schedule I substance for the purpose of trafficking, contrary to section 5(1); and
  • Unlawfully produce Schedule II substance, contrary to section 7(1).

The 24-year-old is believed to be the individual seen by witnesses running from the home moments after the August 15th explosion. According to Police, “there are concerns for Moustafa’s safety as he may have been injured during the incident.”

London Police arrested a suspect the day after last month’s explosion, 26-year-old Rueben Garcia, who was charged with:

  • Arson by negligence
  • Arson causing damage to property
  • Arson with disregard for human life
  • Occupant injuring a building
  • Possession of a schedule II substance for the purpose of trafficking (three counts)
  • Possession of a schedule I substance for the purpose of trafficking

When investigators arrived at the scene, they allegedly found evidence of a marijuana oil extraction operation. The total amount of drugs seized by officers came to $53,490. Damage to the property from the explosion and fire is estimated at $600,000.

No one was injured in the explosion and fire, but a number of residents were forced from their homes and lost thousands of dollars worth of possessions.
